Personally wont use one as don't thinks they are worth doing unless you want to hang it on the wall.Have a couple that i have not used and would rather get the playfield touched up and clear coated.
Have seen somewhere, someone clear coated one and as he tighten up the post, it like put all cracks all threw the clear coat.
Find a new playfield or get yours touched up as have seen some great work done by a few people on playfields resto.
Waiting on getting my Rolling stones playfield returned after clear coating and should look sweet.
