I went to a local glass/mirror factory today and asked for the thinnest mirror glass and asked if I gave them a cardboard template (or templates) could they cut to size and the answer was yes, and it was real cheap.
I will post some photos of my efforts when i get some done. A excellent improvement/mod.
note- 3m double sided tape is the answer to securing the bling mirrors without having to use screws etc.
