Funny you mention this Nino !

I've just switched from Eminem's latest, Recovery to Metallica's Black album ! And what a great album it is ! I have added ONE to the black album as i reckon its their best !

".. and Justice for all" is their finest work. "One" is an all time favorite of mine, the video portrays the reality and casualty of war. Very confronting. The "Black Album" is a classic, but it "Commercialised" Metallica. Thankfully, these days, fans see it as a change in direction and every band goes through some sort of change. I will add "..and justice for all" to the playlist - I still have the double album somewhere !

Absolutely love this one from Dream Theatre

Also anything from Pink Floyd's Division Bell - love the guitar intro in this one

Just found out the the Gunners are coming to Townsville later this year - dunno whether its worth going, are their new line up/concerts pretty ordinary and will it spoil some of their awesome albums?

I've seen/heard some live stuff from them which has some parts where Axl is singing way off tune or the guitar is out a fair bit.

"Hollow Years" has an incredible intro and works up to John Petrucci's solo. It's little wonder that he is recognised as one of the best guitarists of our time

Almost forgot - Pink Floyd are a HUGE infuence on Dream Theater. "Lifting Shadows off a dream" = "Comfortably Numb".

Gunners ALMOST got their "vibe" back, but Axl has lost the plot. They looked like a travelling Circus with Buckethead and Robin Fink in the band - But they sounded awesome live
