Hi Rich,

I have seen 3 or 4 of the small DMDs fail over the last few months. If is is only missing a couple of lines then it could well be that a few of the pins on the side of the DMD glass have broken away and these can sometimes be repaired.
I ended up purchasing a PinLED replacement for a TMNT is was happy with the result. Initally the new display would sometimes display rubbish or freeze after a few minutes. Even though I was measuring 4.96V right on the display, the fault was traced back to a few faulty caps on the power supply.
