Interesting News, which has been rumored around the traps for some time. The single most important question I had has been answered already;

"Q: Why is this good for Pinball?"

The answer to this question is of most interest to me. The rights have been bought by "passionate pinball enthusiasts, both familiar with the pinball community as well as the pinball marketplace".

At last (we hope), the rights have been brought by an entity that wants to promote and support the hobby and the industry. The understanding of the product and the market will be the key to the success of this changeover. I like what I'm reading and I feel very positive about the future of Pinball will be in the right hands. The next few months will be worth monitoring and hopefully a good working relationship with IPB will mean more parts will be produced.

Our friends in the USA have embraced the announcement already - so let's sit back and watch the landscape change !
