I'm sure I've seen him offering this machine before at a similarly overpriced asking price. He confuses rare with popular; 17 odd thousand of these made it's not going to be that hard to find an ok one.
I'd feel sorry for anyone who falls for this - including the seller if as others have said he's just trying to recoup costs.
