I absolutely love daylight savings, not just because we have it here (as do most other states) but I get a lot more fun with it being light when I get home from work for three hours, rather than sleeping though the sun rise and missing those hours of sun light. I'm sure there's a good reason to the mind of whoever doesn't want it up north, but as it's just an arbitrary change to the time, it has zero effect in my opinion, other than to shift the day light hours to the end rather than the start of the working day for those of us who work "standard" hours.
