Re: Williams Sistem 3-7 driverboard repair

I have a spare Williams system 3-7 driver board that I wish to get restored. I instelled it into my Williams Flash to see the faults that it has. It has a lot of lamp strigs stuck on but no open switches.  I like to get the board re-furbished, working on boards is a bit intricate for me. Can eneyone recommend someone in Sydney who can repar it for me. I wish to install this board into my Williams Flash so it will be trouble free.

Don't be afraid to give these boards a go, they are real easy to fault find and repair.
Just keep in mind that sometimes chips test as ok when on the board even though they are faulty.
Use the symptoms with the circuit diagram and you will find the problem.
Very cheap and easy work, first thing you need to do is replace the lamp matrix resistors with 27ohm 5 watt wire wound resistors.
Have a good look at the connectors and pins too, they may need replacing.

Good luck
