If the old clock PCB doesn't do it I would check continuity on the new one. Also do the clock test and make sure that all the positions register as they should.
will try your first suggestion but can't do the clock test as the slam tilt just kills the game and you can't get into the diagnostics or I can't seemd to. Thanks anyway
