After letting the undercoat dry for a couple of days, i sanded it back with 280 grit then 400 grit ready for the black basecoat. Again i used White Knight brand spray paint. I did about four coats in all on the cab. it was then put aside to dry properly while i did the stencils on the backbox.

For the backbox, i supported it over the end of my bench so the side wasnt sitting on the floor to do the stencils, one side at a time. First i did the yellow, about 3 or 4 LIGHT coats, waiting 10 - 15 mins between coats, then allowing another 15 - 20 mins before removing the stencil. A few days later i did the red/orange colour. The colours i used were Dulux carnival yellow and volcano orange (bought from Bunnings), which were a pretty reasonable match to the original colour. Then i flipped the back box over and did the other side... 2nd verse same as the first!!  :D :D :lol
