Unbelievable what some people do   @.@
As for the coil, there is no reason to replace it unless it is the incorrect rating, coils usually work or they dont work, they do not ever slow down etc. I'm sure when you rebuild the flippers with new coil sleeves and links etc, your flippers will be snappy as new  *%*
