Hi there,

Thanks to Derek I narrowed down that 12V is indeed the problem.
12V to the flipper board, DMD, coin door etc was working, but not to the playfield.
Looking closer at the machine, reading Clay's pages and going through the manual, I realised J118 wasnt connected so there was no 12V to the playfield.
Looking at the original board Power/Driver board I took out J118 was hacked (ie directly soldered) so when I put the replacement Power/Driver in there was no 12V to the playfield.

Using alligator leads I managed to get 12V back to the playfield & came up with "gnd short" for 3/4/5.
I put the original CPU board in and came up with the same error messages.

So, CPU and Power/Driver are currently ok. I'm guessing 12V is screwed on the original Power/Driver board.
Now to track down the ground short that's throwing the errors.

Any suggestions - please send them my way. The error was occurring with power removed from the Mini Playfield and Idol Motor (though both kicked in with the connectors connected)
