Is it hard to tighten up the plunger? Bit of a struggle to hit the number 3 skill shot and beyond too. Much involved? Thanks guys.

I assume you are referring to the ball shooter spring ?

It is one of the easiest maintenance jobs you will ever do on your machine. Do you have a manual for you game ? All you need to do is check the part number of the spring. You will find the inner and outer springs here ;

Remove the rubber tip. Remove the clip and the inner spring pops out. Replace it with the new spring. Put the clip back on and you are done ! You can remove the shooter rod and clean off any dirt or lubrication which can make the action slugggish.
