Just a suggestion that works for me.....
If you place the foam squares (full of ICs) vertically in the compartments, you can get MORE ICs (double-sided) in, and it's far more EASIER to pull 'up' the foam sleeve to extract the ICs.
digging around at the bottom of the compartment is a pain everytime....
