AJ, Mt Tamborine is a funny place. One of those places up the top of many many kilometres of winding roads, covered with little cafes and hippy shops etc etc, and a bit of a touristy type area for the grey nomads, attracting alot of older people. Literally up a very steep mountain for anyone who has tried driving up there.

I think Mt Tamborine would be a bad place to build it cause of the location (off the beaten track) and I also reckon the greenies who mostly live there would definately oppose anything like it. I know recently, a government dept tried building a youth club for the obvious reasons of looking after the youth and there were people protesting with placards (average age of apx 60 yrs plus) and the whole thing went down in flames. I would be extremely surprised if Allan ever got approval in that area from the gold coast council.

I heard he was looking at something much closer to the tourist strip which would make more sense for $$ and access.  I will ask a friend who knows one of his techs for an update.
