Does not sound like the MPU to me, and you have confirmed that it is not the Lamp Driver.

I'd swap another Bally MPU (Goldball?) into this game to confirm. The feature lights will be different, but it will point you in the right direction.

I've never seen a feature light issue repaired by changing parts on the MPU.

It will be a connector issue.
