I was very tempted to buy the TRON LE but buckley's of getting one as all sold out except 1 left through the

Stern Aussie Distributor

Catch is this machine is doing the rounds in pubs in Newcastle and Sydney for the Tron comp between now and 6th November. The machines sold for $7950 each for the LE Version  (about $6600 for the standard version) and just for us after the one in the pubs finishes its rounds on the 6th November, Stern's Aussie Distributor are going to sell it to the lucky customer for $7500 Bargain...... with a payment now not knowing the condition after 5-6 months use and been bashed around. These guys now how to make there money with the machine set at $2 per game and a $450 discount off a used game.... wow.

When I was at the pub (Gunyah - Belmont), I put in my first $2 to try it and the ball was stuck in the ramps so the game was searching for the ball, so the pub barman came around and lifted the machine to one side on just 2 legs with the others lifting at least 10cms off the ground and then dropping - now I can see why these machines end up so damaged after many years out in the field.

End of the day I can't let go of that much money on a 2nd hand machine that cops 6 months mistreatment in a pub, with dropping, beer and scratching in of names etc.
