I totally agree with Nick. Some Segas (most really) do exactly what u are talking about when multiball wants to start but the game can only see "some" of the trough switchs.

I probably have well over a dozen Sega's and ball trough switchs often do weird things until i get Beaky (Andrew) to fix/clean/replace them. Should be a easy clean and easy adjustment.
