Pete, the ramp when cleaned up is still gold but is seems more like chrome, it is definately lighter than it used to be, not sure if it is just because it is super clean and it will turn more gold as it tarnishes or not???
But I am not a real gold coloured man, so if I was going to get any parts re-plated I would have gone with a chrome finish anyway, hence the chrome legs instead of gold so I am happy with the look.
