Thanks guys
Will check out the pawnbroker option although I really don't have a lot of knowledge to make a good decision, still could be interesting, might wind up walking out with a radio controlled plane.

I see some Fluke 15 B and 17 B on a few different sites, these seem to be a meter for the chinese market.

So not real sure, 17b I can get for about $90, doesn't seem to be covered by Fluke australia warranty though, Any thoughts on the Fluke??

I looked at a large range before I settled on the 115.  Does absolutely everything I need for pinball work.  The add on lead kit was just the icing on the cake.

On on eBay from a private seller at the moment http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Fluke-115-True-RMS-Multimeter-/320747474613?pt=AU_B_I_Electrical_Test_Equipment&hash=item4aae0a0eb5
