in typing this i realised where to look next.homepins new opto board has a test point for the 12vdc.so i tested.no 12vdc.checked the wiring.the grey/yellow was linking the 2 opto boards together but missing the active wire.i found the grey/yellow on the door interface board and re-routed it to the left opto board and voila we have flippers.i have earned my beer today.lol
