So can anyone tell me why these things always happen on a Friday afternoon or worse, on public holidays? 
ahaha yer lol, i got lucky plumber came out was in my street working on another job which was small, no holes in wall needed, a brass fitting cracked and was small leak of water running back down the wall and escaped in my spare room, luckily it looks like it wasnt enough to to swell the wall, damn lucky, i was worried id be spending the weekend with the mains turned off.
