You can get legs profesionally powder coated for only $6 a leg up here on the Gold Coast/Brisbane and u could always sandblast a leg or two in the backyard/over the grass/garden if u didnt want to get one powder coated.

The smaller cabinet MAY have a access port/hole in the rear side to perhaps slide say half of the leg into.?  I will have to relook at the smaller cabinet on monday when I am back at the shop.  The smaller cabinet is only $165.
