Well, I spent about 30 mins playing Transformers today, can't say it impressed me that much, for a start, it is very hard to work out what shots you need to make to advance anywhere, almost every light on the playfield is lit for most of the game, and without knowing all the rules I felt like I was just bashing the ball around, Stern haven't even released the game rules yet  @.@

The shots are not that satisfying, the left 'laser cut' ramp that does a u-turn and returns feel silly as if not complete. The laser cut ramp does look impressive though.

Right ramp unsatifying shot again, both return on a plastic ramp that looks more like a shallow trough, maybe cheaper to produce  !@#

There are two multiball modes I found, I'm sure there is another for a wizard.  One is an easy shot to make and lock 4 balls under the megatron toy to start megatron multiball, a fast paced 4 ball starting with the balls fired at you at warp speed, first time I got it I found it hard to control the released balls, they really move, luckly there is a ball saver to relaunch any you may have missed.  All shots were lit for jackpots.

Optimus multiball is started, I think after hitting the shot under him about 5 times then a ramp pops up so you can shoot at him another 5 times or so, this I felt, was not the greatest of shots either, the ball flies up the ramp hits the optimus toy then just bounces off him and dribbles off the playfield plastics located around him, doesn't have the feel of a soild target shot.

The Bumblebee car toy moves as you'd expect, not much to say there, it awards 2x scoring when b-u-m-b-l-e-b-e-e is spelt. Unfortunately I think the paint will wear off the sides of the car over the years, but who knows. I know how long the paint lasts on the matchbox cars my boys have  <.>

I was not really expecting too much of the game but I was hoping it would be better now that Stern has some competition.  Overall it just didn't feel 'finished' hard to explain, maybe it a software upgrade with a little more instruction, I don't know.  I just hope the LE is better for the people who have put their money down.  *%*
