I dont think there is any such thing as cheap arse titles. All machines (DMD) will cost $1500 to 2 grand upwards straight off the bat. Whether you have one or 100 its not going to be cheap. Also, the belief that some machines that cost say 2 grand are not good pinballs but a machine that cost say 9 grand is a good player, that theory is flawed.
I have played many $2000 machines that I felt were better value than a $9000 title. But there is nothing wrong with spending 9 grand either. Its all personal taste.

Every collector has a desire to collect pins and the specific titles based on a few basic theories, with size of area within a house dictating say 6 or 7 pins versus 100 because of space avail etc. Others collect only Bally/Williams. Other collect all manufacturers, others collect sci-fi themes or car themes etc. Others only buy a few machines because thats all they desire. Others buy many cause they want a larger collection.1 or 50, it dont matter.

When i started collecting, as like many others, I decided to buy machines that I thought were great value or great bang for ya buck titles. An example would be say a Last Action hero for say around $1800. A fun machine at a great price. A Indiana Jones for $4500. A Star Trek Next Gen for $3500. Titles all varying between $1500 and $5000.

I have always said EVERY pinball is fun. There is no such thing as a non fun pinball. Whether you buy one machine or 100 it doesnt matter. What does matter is that you and your family enjoy playing the pinnys, and other people in the wider community also enjoy playing them. Price of a machine and amount of machines doesnt matter cause once u hit the start button, its all fun.
