I think that starting out it is worthwhile owning two or three machines. Unless you are prepared to spend mucho dollars for repairs, then you need to be able to still play when one of them breaks down and you work out how to fix it.
So based on that I reckon that you are better off owning some cheaper machines to begin with unless you are really sold on owning a so called A list titles.
