I dont really know what I'm talking about but I would guess it's much like a new car....once you drive it out of the lot it's no longer a new car and it instantly drops in value. The apeal here would be that it's new in a box once it's opended and set up and you play a game all you have is a Star Trek in imaculate condition...not worth as much as brand new in a box....what could you get for a imaculate Star Trek? Also I would worry that eveything would be working after 20 odd years in a box.
