Might be worth checking that the diode across the start switch (front door) in not shorting out against the metal door. When this diode shorts out, strange things like this can occur.

Also, run the coil test in the diagnostics. See if the sound re occurs after the outhole kicker is pulsed, then it could be an issue with that coil / diode.
