14 April 1929 – 26 December 2012

As a child growing up in the '80s, I also have fond memories watching the spinoff version, "Terrahawks" on morning TV while getting ready for school.

Thunderbirds pinball machine, where are you?

Sad News.

I used to watch Thunderbirds every Sunday morning as a youngster. I bought the box set from the UK several years ago and watched every episode. It brought back a flood of memories.

Thunderbirds were great  ^^^. I used to love watching them through the late 60's and in the 70's.  I still watch reruns sometimes when I happen to find them on the idiot box. Sorry to hear Gerry has passed on but at least he had a good innings and left a legacy that far as I know is still unique in the land of TV ?
I was always surprised at the level of detail and intricacy built into the sets as well as the Supermarionation .  ^^^

Anything by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson has a huge cult following in the UK.. have seen rerun after rerun and also Thunderbirds on stage which was such a blast. My favourite though was Joe 90 and Capt Scarlet.
Thanks Gerry... had a whole childhood based around your creations... ^^^

Loved the Thunderbirds as a kid and still do to this day.
I would love to see a Thunderbirds pinball.
