Game Themes and Story Lines
« on: February 17, 2013, 04:00:15 PM »
Ok in stead on making a focused thread on one game, keep it open for others.

My Question - Getaway Highspeed II
I have not played a Getaway Highspeed 2 so - What is the general story line, goals to achieve? does it revolve around speeding, car racing, gone in 60 seconds style car theft ???? Can some one help me as very curious.

For others, feel free to ask your theme questions here for other games, could be a interesting read. Like:

Another Game - Embryon
What is the story line as it looks like a cool game but would not have a clue what it's about?

As far as Embryon goes, there's no story line like on 90's dmd's, basically you hit targets down for scores, the centre captive balls enable you to spell embryon and light a ball lock. After a ball s locked you need to knock down the right hand target and then hit the captive ball to release a 2 ball multiball. The multiball is pretty difficult to get but pointless in that there is nothing special to aim for during it. You simply have to balls on the playfield and thats all. However its a nice game to play for a 1980 machine, i like it.
