Site I go to when in the market for a game
« on: February 16, 2013, 10:49:34 AM »
http://pinball.org/videos/tutorials/

This is a site i go to to view the pros playing a possible candidate for my collection. It may have been posted elsewhere here i'm not sure.

Because the guys playing are pretty good, you can get a feel for how it plays and the features a game has. It covers all styles and eras of games

The tutorials are great if you own or intend playing a title and want to maximize scoring. Check out the STTNG tutorial and see there is only one combo shot required to absolutely blow out the score on this machine.

Hope it helps anyone out there

Great links, thanks for posting. These really do show you the ins and outs o fa game. I recall watching one on Funhouse that I really liked a while back. Probably more useful than pinmame for getting the feel of the theme of a game - less distracting thank trying to hit an artificial ball in a world of artificial physics.

I lke the site because on some games it really highlights the repeativeness of the shots and how boring a game can be. I watched genesis and thought nope not for me

Genesis is awesome! Once you understand the rules, the game is very well designed.

Fair point, i really should base my opions on fact, but if you dont have the opportunity to try before you buy, i have to look at sites like this to help in my decision making. I am sure you are completely correct and i knew it might offend. My opologies but i was trying to make an example here only.

Hope to play one some time before i die.
