I will take some more photos when I add LEDS everywhere etc, and some more of the cabinet artwork of things I have only just noticed which stand out nicely once u realise it is there.

I have to say that the flow of this game is amazing. The ramp shots from the bottom flippers are just beautiful, its such a gift to play a machine with the best of the best ramp designs which are lightning fast. Everything on this X Men Pro playfield feels really right, nothing feels like it shouldnt be there. The shot up between the pop bumpers is cool, the 3rd flipper shot is satisfying, just everything gels on this title. Locking balls under magneto is a smart feature, the sink hole up close is different n fun, the targets are well placed, John Borg has done a stellar job on this title. AND you can tell, nothing was rushed, no mistakes here n there like Avengers has with non visible inlanes etc. I cant find a fault at all with this title.

I think AMD still has 1 x BNIB X Men Pro left, and Stern is still making them, so if anyone ever feels the urge to give X Men a serious consideration, I reckon you will really be surprised n satisfied at just how well put together this game is. The flow of the ramps is just an example of what a well thought out playfield looks like. Third flipper placement is superb.

I have become a Jon Borg fan forever. Its only after i recieved this game did I start to realise I already had quite a few of Borgys previous titles as well.
So his smart designs are documented back to the early nineties which is great. I am dying to see his next title.

Anyway, I am now looking for a X Men Pro topper....stay tuned for some further photos.  ^^^

Excellent, good addition Rob.
Data East's Star Wars was huge for Borgy, it sold 10,400. A huge number for 1992.

Some of Borgys other work > all great games for sure...I cant wait to see what he comes up with next....2013 ? and 2014 ?.............

1995-10 Apollo 13 Sega

I also note, that Lonnie Ropp has also had a HUGE amount of input with not only Borgys designs, but alot of other peoples titles from the early Data East days, thru to Sega days, thru to the present day with alot of Sterns current and past titles. Lonnie is another genius who has also produced many many great titles. Its no wonder that when Borgy and Lonnie collaborate together, that they produce excellent machines.
