Gene Cunningham is selling 180 pins for $50k
« on: February 13, 2013, 08:31:08 AM »
It has been posted elsewhere that Gene from Illinios pinball is selling off warehouse of 180 pinball games for 50,000 or bids til March 1st.

No links as he doesn't do email.

Gene from IPB is selling his game collection (a warehouse with 175-180 pinball machines). There is supposed to be some 'A' games, rare games and some prototype games. He is selling the lot for $50k (this comes out to about $275 per game).

He also has three (3) Big Bang Bars for sale (one is an original). Lots of video games (28) and some slot machines (30).

You can fax your offers to Gene (his fax # 309-828-3232). All offers need to be made before March 1st. Games are located in Bloomington, IL.

I would think that would also spell the end of the King Pin remake

I cannot see a man who is downsizing, wanting to gear you for that huge task that pinball building requires

Although there's something he said - "Pigs will fly again" which could be a reference to KP, and the BBB naysayers constantly referred to the possibility of his finishing BBB a "Yeah, and pigs will fly".

Nick has a good point. Gene could be raising capital to do the King Pin title !  Makes it even more interesting now, perhaps the game might get made.

This bunch of games is only a small portion of what he has, this is just clearing one building.

To be honest, I consider KP highly unlikely, and waiting anxiously to be proven wrong.

Missed out on my letter, despite being a BBB buyer and signed up twice for KP (but I think pigs will in fact fly first).

Hooray!! I'm in the club!!

Must have used the Kingpin preorder lists as the address is my current one and not the one when I ordered BBB.

I haven't received a letter yet nor a response to half a dozen emails in the last six months requesting updates on the Kingpin project. I really want Kingpin to be made, having played one, it is just a great overall package.

Edit - was in today's mail. Hopefully the next letter will be confirming the Kingpin remake.
