Nice pickup Adam well done :-) thanks for the photo Blair I'm sure you guys enjoyed some "quality time" by the fountain lol

Peter

Fountain aside, the beer garden at the pub was great. Just a lucky choice really, we could just as easily ended up having a very different meal at the bikie pub over the road.

Great story, what a discrace them about to throw it out. Would have easily fetched a few hundred on ebay at the very least. Always liked Kings Of Steel.

She's alive!

It's not yet pretty but it works. Just swapped out the fuses and it fired up. There are still problems but they're only minor, flippers need to be rebuilt, shooter rod looks more like a banana, the ball doesn't register when it drains and one pop bumper is buggered but apart from that all good. I will clean it up a bit more than that though as the coils could all do with new sleeves and a clean, the playfield paint needs touching up and it just needs a general spit and shine throughout. I also need to get a new backglass still as the existing faded repo translite is a poor substitute for what would have been a nice back glass originally.
Also, I have to say that the sounds are pretty cool on this machine as well. Pretty happy with that.

Nice pickup. I have never played one of these. Looks interesting. Those old ballys never die.

Good stuff.

I wonder how many machines have been or were going to be thrown out or have been sold because of a dud fuse or two.
