Pin cuts out mid ball
« on: January 24, 2014, 03:22:48 PM »
Hi Guys
looking for some help  ,please
My  AC/DC LTBR  cuts out  , as in  just goes dead, in the middle of a ball
As soon as the ball goes down , it re sets and I  can play again
I cant pinpoint when it does it
It only use to happen very occasionally , now it is more frequent

Any clues appreciated
Cheers
Rich

Has the machine had any mods done to it and I mean ANY?
Replacement Pinball PCBs that remain faithful to the originals

Sounds like a similar issue I had with my BIBLE. Check for any loose objects or screws in the ball trough.
If nothing there, then maybe optos need checking.
In my case it was a loose screw bouncing around wjich finally got wedged on the trough side where I found it.

If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,

Sounds like the culprit. Sligtly loose wiring most of the time explains these random issues, especially with the contribution from shaker motors these days. Good to resolve any issues, nice work.
