Wanted: Bally EM Parts
« on: March 05, 2014, 01:00:20 PM »
Hi all,
I'm looking for the following parts for a Bally Captain Fantastic EM pinball. If anyone has them for sale or can point me in the right direction, would be much appreciated.

- Shooter rod, plus parts.
- backbox bolts to secure head (four bolts needed).

Cheers!
Adam.

Good stuff.. always someone on here that helps with this sort of thing. Personally, I have a collection of brand new shooter rods which only came about because they were either too long or short for the game I was restoring and so I bought more.. eventually, the right one gets purchased

Much appreciated guys! Haha yeah, I have a drawer and cupboard full of random parts. I'll usually order at least one extra of something in case I need it down the track.

Yep, Dan, it's 1976 Captain Fantastic.

This looks like the shooter rod? (First link that come up).

Have sourced everything except the "spring cup" P-2879. Has anyone got an equivalent part or is it even necessary?

Cheers!
Adam.

This is the correct size plunger rod. There were shorter ones sold on eBay that are not the right ones.

I've been caught out on the eBay ones as well. Don't be fooled by the part number in the eBay ads, they are not correct.
I ended up getting the correct one for Flash Gordon from Best of Pinball. Delivery is slow but they have some parts that are hard to fine else where.
