WOODRAIL POP BUMPER GLOBES

To anyone out there with a woodrail Pin do the pop bumpers require a special globe as the caps wont go on with regular 47s or have i put them together wrong?

Have you replaced them with standard bayonet sockets as per the 7th photo down on this link?

Should fit with the standard globe? Do you have the domed caps or the flat daisey caps?

There flat daisy caps i guess? See picture and i used the sockets also pictured

They are the correct domed daisey caps - all of my woddies have those types and all the globes fit.

Not sure what has happened Daniel, are you able to take a photo of inside the bumper body with the cap off?

If all else fails - ill send you some actually globe type bulbs - not the dome head type. These still work and came out of an old woodrail. OK, so they are 2nds, but are 50 years old and still working - cant argue with that!
