Hehe,  I knew it was the playfield, but no fun in guessing first up!

Awesome.  This machine is now a keeper and needs to get the FULL treatment done.

What are your plans?  Is the cab getting a stencil kit?  I've seen decals for them, but IMO I think the respray is better.
Boards?  Hopefully they are getting done too?  Loom washed.

If you havn't already got one, a vibrating tumbler is a worthwhile purchase and a playfield stand is a must.  I've read horror stories on RGP with people gouging brand new playfields when slipping with screwdriver..... !!! !!! !!!

I am really looking forward to your thread on this.  I guess with the old PF out, side by side is doable.

I understand these playfields come cleared already, so all holes are pre-pressed.  That saves a lot of work too.  I guess running the wire for the G.I strings is probably the hardest part.  I think you can buy the special stable guns for these too.

New G.I holders or recycling?  Very exciting stuff....

WOW! You must be pumped Paul!

You need to do the swap now - you can do this! (Repeat 100 times).

Just take your time and keep chipping away. It's not as daunting as you might think.  *.*

I have done 2 and about to do my third, so if I can do it with only 3 brain cells you sure can  ^^^

People will be wondering who is MickB? Well Mick is the best pinball tech in Australia. He is a rare breed who can fix all EM/SS and DMD. He is also the nicest guy - the kinda guy you could punch right in the face and he would think it was funny  :lol

Here is a photo of him on the left with Pinball Mania's Jason Douglas on the right - Jason looks like he has had too much red wine  #@#

Paul, if it was my playfield swap I would be doing the swap before handing it over to Mick

Is that an Expo photo? They were both there.

And nice pick-up on the BK playfield, Paul. That thing looks sweet.
