Coin Plate surprise

Took the coin plate off to give it a sand and found four quarters and two nickels...look they have been in there for a long time.. ^^^
Life is short...smile while you still have teeth  ;-)

Yeah. I've occasionally found Escudos, Deutchmarks & Yankee coins &c in various machines I have restored over the years. It's kind of nice to get these little "bonuses".

I have quite a collection at home as well !

I found the skeletal remains of a rat in one machine  !@#

Some might find it strange but any coins i find inside a machine i always leave in the coin box like its part of the machine !!@

Nope, when I collected antique clocks I sometimes found "stuff" in them, and usually left it there for the same reason.

Once id drilled the lock out of the 1959 pokie and pulled the coin box out, i found over $5 in sixpences and 5c coins.
They were all stuck together with congealed oil and dust. But ive also found a train set and i often find my analogue meter inside a machine after looking for it for several days swearing loudly and blaming everyone for touching my stuff... oh yeh... i live alone... bugger

I once bought a "one armed bandit" for $150 and when I got home there was $30 in 10c pieces in the payout tube which was a nice bonus. Didn't have to worry about getting a load of 10c pieces.

half your luck guys.
the most i have found in a pin is a flipper spacing / adjusting tool, Which i must say i have used a few times and find it very handy
