Pinball Restoration DVD Set
« on: July 04, 2009, 11:12:08 AM »
Have you guys seen this before or do you know the producer (based in Adelaide)? It looks like good value for money.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/PINBALL-RESTORATION-2-DVD-SET_W0QQitemZ220446973325QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_15?hash=item3353a9dd8d&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A1|66%3A2|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

I bought a set because it seems to cover all of the areas I suck at such as cosmetic restoration and the like rather the electronics & mechanics which I have a pretty fair idea about.

Anyway once I receive it I'll give everyone a full run down.

They were produced by Brad (Darksoul) a member here, I have his first disc it is full of interesting information.

Also if you haven't got the 'this old pinball' DVDs they are definately worth checking out.
There are 8 different dvds aimed at different eras of pinball, heaps of great tips and troubleshooting

Evro - I bought the first DVD from Brad quite some time ago, and it is "top notch". I have not seen the second DVD, but I'm sure it will as good as the first !

I look forward to your review (so does Brad) !

Thanks guys, I saw the price & the amount of stuff on the DVDs and it was a no brainer, I hit the BIN button straight away.  I've spent a lot more money on crap from eBay that I figured I had nothing to loose.
