Very strange,

I'm dirty on myself for not having a good look at this machine when I was picking up the quick draw, I could have perhaps helped someone here who was interested, but it was a hectic morning coming off night shift, pissing rain and I only had eyes for my pin. Odd that the seller has changed from liz(..whatever) who I assumed worked for aussieworld, to now seller being "aussieworld". Contact details are the same? How does this get relisted when they  had 3? best offers previously? !@#

Cheers
Dave

Yeah . It doesn't even have the old "relisting due to non-paying buyer" line.

I had a counter-offer on this pin last time of $1250 which was tempting but it was sold before I got home from work .

Now that it has been re-listed like this I'll think I'll pass . Something seems dodgy with this . Maybe genuine but unless I was close enough to check it out in person I'd have to pass . There'll be others I'm sure .

He/she's really trying to throw the scent off, by listing it as circa 1980's ha ha...  Play dumb and nobody will ask questions.

It's the oldest trick in the book, used to see it in the Trading post, especially in the Automobile section, you know what I'm talking about: "Excellent condition for age, lady owner only used to drive it to church on Sundays" and when you went to see it it actually looked and sounded like it was taken rally driving every weekend.

Oh i Know that Jacks Open!!

If you look at the pictures thats my GULF STREAM sitting right next it.

Have seen this machine and i made an offer on it.. in fact i offered to take both GF and JO for $1000 cash right there and then ( well ya gotta try eh??)

Seems JO already had an offer on it.. seller was going to get back to me as the buyer had not come up with the funds.

Machine is at the Ettomoga pub on Sunshine coast. They had 3 EM's there. As far as i know.., all 3 have just come off site after some 30 years service.

Cabinet is NOT original.. looks good on computer but actually is stencilled over existing worn paintwork. PF has some wear and has contact over it.

I got the call..... how much was i prepared to pay for JO?? How much do you want was my reply. Offer so far is $1350.. beat that and its yours.... I told the NEW owners of the machine to grab that offer with both hands.

Ettomogah has new owners.. they are scrapping the pins and the amusement park and turning it into a theme park the likes of Gold Coast. The number listed is the head maintenance  guy Trevor... seems he has done his homework with the Jacks Open.. but also seems he has got greedy cos once whoever bids on it sees it, they pull the plug on the deal... game is a restore job... its not as clean as it looks, has seen A LOT of service.
