Garage storage
« on: August 13, 2009, 03:19:23 PM »
Just want some advice about moving my pin/s into my garage. I am expecting a JD and i have to move my TSPP out in the garage when it arrives as theres no room in the house.

I'm wondering, because my wife will still be using the garage (it's a double) for he car are there going to be issues associated with this. If only i had space for a shed out back  but not to be. And no, before anyone asks, she can't park in the street

My sister in law is sowing a cover so it will be covered when not in use to keep dust and prying eyes out. Anything else i need to think of?
.....something witty here

I assume your car will be parked in the driveway ? If so - Depending on how much is stored in the garage, and how much you can move up into shelving, you should be able to fit 4 pins - easily.

Moisture in the air corroding metal parts, even under the cover

I always throw satchets of silica gel in my pins whether they are in the house or the garage. Make sur that the cover you use will let the machine "breathe", otherwise it could be a moisture trap.
