For anyone interested, I've got a DATA I/O 29B with the Unipak 2 module available for sale. This is a very versatile programmer that will program almost all of the older EPROMS and PROMS commonly found in pinballs and arcade games.
The unit has been fully disassembled, cleaned, repaired, re-assembled and tested. The DC calibration check has been done along with upgrading the RAM to 128 kB (1 Mbit) and the firmware to version 5. 240V operation with Australian power cord included.
The unit has been tested in both stand alone and PC controlled modes. The unit comes with a full set of manuals, device lists, PC software etc. on a CD. The new owner will need to supply a serial cable to suit their PC.
The unit had a crack in the case that has been repaired, along with some small chips and scratches in the paintwork. I would rate the cosmetic appearance at about 8 out of 10.
Price is $350 with pickup from Wollongong NSW. Postage anywhere in Australia can be arranged and charged at cost.
