Just a quick clarifying note: the artwork I displayed is NOT for this project - it is just a sample of some of Grants work to show his style.

Cheers

Hello Guys,

I am currently in my China office where internet access is very patchy at times (Govt is very touchy sometimes).

I can confirm that I have ordered some tooling here and will be air freighting that to Australia with my current 180kg of air freight.

This will allow me to progress some metal parts that a certain licenced dealer refuses to allow me to make as they will be 100% to my design. By being difficult he is simply causing more creativity and he will lose in the long run. I'm certainly not religious but in this case the phrase "you will reap as you sow" applies to this guy IMO and he will get his own one day.

This project is something that is certainly NOT for the fainthearted as Nug will confirm I'm sure!

As always paying work/jobs come first and the pinball project takes backseat.

Already some aspects of the project have become obsolete and have been updated to incorporate more flexible features and newer components.

One point I must make very clear is that it will be next to impossible for people to buy a kit that they can customise to their own theme. The theme is an intergral part of the artwork - both cabinet (and playfield) and software/gameplay. It would be next to impossible to do it any other way as some have suggested. In fact the biggest cost is in the production and printing of the artwork.

More when I have something to report.

In the meantime we have been nibbling away at some smaller pin projects such as the WMC hi-voltage section replacement board (now in production) - Gottlieb pop bumper replacement board with several improved features and the Gottlieb replacement audio amp board (just bought the parts for it yesterday). These can be seen on my website and purchased by emailing me.

Cheers,

Mike
