Gold Coast pinball site locations
« on: November 01, 2009, 04:10:54 PM »
I was on the coast friday/saturday of last week, for a property conference @ jupiters casino and managed to sneek away from the conference and check out Timezone in the cavill mall. They had 3 of sterns latest titles

1. NBA - cool game limited number of toys on the playfield, fast flowing pin, enjoyed this title.
2. CSI - never liked the TV show, 3 flippers, lots of toys on the playfield,
3. Batman - this is one cool game, heaps of toys, loved the crane in the middle of the playfield, very well designed and great artwork. This title gets my vote as BEST out of the three I played.

All 3 pins in as new condition, all set on 3 ball games @ $1.50/game. This centre is Australia's biggest amusement centre, with well over 300 arcade machines, well worth a visit if anyone is visiting the Gold Coast.

Does anyone else know of any other pins sited on the coast  !@#??, please post  ^^^
Pinballs in my collection Elvira, Stern Grand Prix, Bally Corvette, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Judge Dredd, Black Rose and Data East Guns n Roses.

My house with 25 plus pins is about it, plus the other qld members who have lots n lots tucked away too ! Im not the only hoarder up here.
Get your other 4 or 5 pins from New Zealand.

Beakys BK2000. we can hijack that when it gets here.
If only the dam things were easier to move, we could rent a massive warehouse for a weekend, everyone could bring their collection and have a super BBQ and drinking fest.ohh, and a few games of pinball as well.

Guns n Roses at the Boomerang Cafe is about as good as it gets up here ! Melbourne seems better for on site locations.

Behind every garage door could be a pinball collectors

No wonder we dont get a lot of new people playing pinball when a game is $1.50 for 3 balls, what a rip off
well i suppose the operators need to make the pin pay for it self.
and if they pay $7k for a pin that means there has to be 4667 games played on it before they break even (thats if they never have to buy parts for it)
then there is the power it uses and the rent for the premises that they have it in.
no wonder there aren't many pins on site nowadays.
