i guys just bought a full flipper kit. having trouble gettn d soft solder to stick to, using 60/40 . do i need to use flux or do i need to use different solder. i think it needs to be cleaned with acid so it sticks . any help would br great

Yes - there will be grease on the wires. Use some Bakers solder flux - just dip a cheap paint brush in and apply to the bare wire, then with a loaded and HOT soledring iron you should be able to tin the wire... sometimes you might need to let soak for 30 secs or so.

If you don't have flux, try some steel wool or sand paper to rub down to clean metal, then try again

strip back the wire thn use a small file to clean up the wire ..DAZ..
