anyone ever built there own camper trailer?

i got this a few weeks ago for $25 at the tip shop and thinking of dropping it onto a trailer frame  !@#

I almost bought a ridgy didge camper trailer (second hand) for $3.5k last year.........

My old man built one for his friend last year basically a standard looking trailer built to suit the tent bit.    Wack in some sliding drws from the sides with a bbq and a few draws under the tent section ill see if he took photos

i got a few frames somewhere in the grass here  %.%. this folds over to be about foot high.

yeah mate $25 cant say no at that price

I am chasing the back of an old vehicle to use as a seat / hidden jukebox...... Something like an old 57 checvy back end or an FJ holden but open to offers is there is one out there for me somewhere.....

1960's we think. leyland tiger cub.

It sorta works mate. its a motor  home conversion.

it was free too boot  %.%

Ive been trying to get my hands on the back of an old 59 Chev to make a couch out of but the guy wants the firewall so for some strange reason he wont cut it up untill he needs the firewall  !!@

that makes sense,  !@# NOT. i wont sell you the back until i cut the front off.
if i sell you the back the fire wall might shrink or something stupid like that.
or someone might drive the front half away.  @@*

well making progress

scoring a good trailer for $150 later in the week hopefully to mount this beast on. just need to get my old v8 registered and fixed and ill be all good to go
