Where can i get a tamper proof screw driver?
« on: January 03, 2010, 01:14:26 PM »
Can anybody tell me where i can get a Torx tamper proof screw driver or bit in Melb? In the past i've been able to use pointy nose pliers, although it would nice to have the right tool if i can get one.

You can get a set of tamperproof screwdriver bits from Jaycar electronics for around $20, they have about 20 pieces in the set if I remember correctly.

Cheers Angelo

You can buy a complete set of tips that includes about 30 different types of tamper proof screw heads fom Dick Smith & Jaycar.

Dick Smith might be closest but generally will be more expensive (and I would ring the store first to ensure they have stock); there is a Jaycar at Thomastown and a few other places.
