Is Lady Luck a one of a kind pinball machine???
« on: January 14, 2010, 06:33:22 PM »
Was thinking the other night as I was playing the Old 1968 williams Lady Luck...

Is there any other machine out there where the main object of the game is to lose the ball just at the right time to be awarded extra points and an extra ball???And it is not as easy as it sounds....ask Wotto

Having to lose at least 1 ball to progress through the game is certainly not unique to Lady Luck.
Going through my own games... 1950 NASCO BINGO BANGO - you HAVE to lose 2 balls minimum AFTER a certain sequence is made ( B-I-N-G-O  B-A-N-G-O). The balls then have to go through both left and right drain lanes.. without accomplishing this.. its impossible to get SPECIAL to light and also extra points award

Also Harvey from 1951 - 2 balls MUST drain through centre lanes 5 and 6 in order to enable SPECIAL.

In both these games 2 balls must drain in the appropriate lanes... extra ball or add a ball aint on these machines

Yeah I understand those machines...but Lady Luck is a little different....If you get 21 on your score card you want to get the ball between the flippers asap but without hitting anything at all....you want to lose the ball without hitting anything at all,,,
But if you have say 11 on your score points and have the advance card on 10ponits then you want to get the ball down the outlane asap....but there is more to it than just that as well...anyway fantastic EM

That is why we love EM's

Moulin Rouge, you have to lose each ball down a seperate outlane in order to light 'Special'

On Marathon you have to loose a ball down one of the gobble holes to get your bonus points  !@#
