Photos of new STERN pinballs required.
« on: January 20, 2010, 12:20:02 AM »
It just occured to me that STERN has provided alot of pinball enthusiasts/members with alot of new or 2nd hand STERN machines.More and more members are buying or have them.

I have started this post so anyone with a STERN pinball machine can post a few photos, describe your new baby, tell us members what u like about your STERN and how long u have had it for, did u buy it new or 2nd hand.

Also, anyone who has paid a deposit on a NIB STERN can post here as well, tell which NIB baby u have ordered and why you chose that paticular model.

This thread may help other members, who are thinking of buying a new STERN, go that one step further and maybe decide to grab a brand new in box STERN before the very limited numbers run out. Mark has some left i think. Maybe Mark C can post how many of each model are left.

Post away guys, i would love to see your machine. (if u posted recently, post again, a dedicated STERN thread will look great !)    ^^^  ^^^  ^^^ ^^^

Ive paid my a deposit for a NIB TSPP which should be here in the next few weeks.

I chose it as The Simpsons is my all time fave tv show. I have a bunch of unopened toys/cards/film strips etc etc what Im hoping will be memorabilia in 20 odd years.

Ive never played it but have done general research. Its something I absolutely must have so not playing doesnt bother me.

I bought my first pin 6 months ago, a CV, having never played a pin ever. I thought it would be cool in my house with all my other collectables and then as I was told by a few people in the know, I got hooked.

I love the idea of having something brand new that will never leave my house ^^^

Batman, the crane is the best toy ever to be put on a pinball playfield, IMHO
With multi-ball going and the moving crane as a target the machine is a blast
unfortunately, the rest of the game is a little average, background music, sound bites (by voice actors, not from movie) drag the machine down

Spidy is win all the way, easily one of may favorite game I have in my collection
Great music, sound bites taken from movie, + they got in the actor who played the J Johnah Jameson (the newspaper editor) to record more dialog.
Great art, easy to understand rules, and simple a blast to play
